Week 11: Flipping Coins

What, you San Diego fans expected something different this year?  Didn't you watch any of the last few seasons?

So I've been back home over the weekend and I almost completely forgot about my picks.  I'm sitting here with about 20 minutes to kickoff, so I'm going to have to knock this out really quick.  Please excuse my any typos, lack of commentary, or just plain bad picks.  I'll be blaming all of that on my lack of time.

Redskins -3.5 against the Eagles.  Eagles are in an epic slump, and this one is going to be hard to break out of starting a rookie in his first game against a division rival.  I think RG3 puts up some numbers and the Skins cruise.

Packers -3 against the Lions.  I'm not really sure why this line is only 3.  I know it's in Detroit, but the Pack are coming off of a bye and should take care of business here.

Falcons -9.5 against the Cardinals.  Too close to call with the spread, but I'm taking the Falcons to win.  My guess would be by about 10, but who knows...

Panthers +1.5 against Tampa.  This one is more of a gut call.  Bucs have been hot, and Panthers certainly have not.  But they are playing at home and I think they get a surprise win here under Cam's dual-threat attack.

Browns +8 against the Cowboys.  I don't think I have EVER picked the Browns in anything, but this just shows how I feel about the streaky Cowboys.  I think the Boys still get the W but Cleveland keeps it close.

Rams -3.5 against the Jets.  Rams are a decent team, and the Jets are just plain bad.  The Tebow/Sanchez thing probably doesn't matter, they should lose either way.

Colts +9.5 against the Patriots.  I never like picking against the Pats at home, but Luck has been on a roll.  I still think New England pulls it out, but I'm thinking the Colts keep it competitive.

Jaguars +16 against the Texans.  Obviously I'm picking Houston to win the game, but since they run the ball so much, 16 will be a lot to cover.  Give me the points, and we'll see if they can avoid being completely blown out.

Bengals -3 against the Chiefs.  KC is just bad, and Romeo Crennel probably shouldn't be on the sideline.  Bengals take care of business on the road here.

Saints -5 against the Raiders.  Saints are just a better team than the Raiders, but this could still be close with how much Oakland has been throwing lately.  I still think New Orleans wins by a touchdown or two, so I'll take em to cover.

Broncos -7 against the Chargers.  The Bolts have made it nearly impossible for me to pick them.  We just have so many problems.  On the other side, Peyton Manning is playing some of the best football of his distinguished career.  This one could be ugly....

Steelers +3.5 against the Ravens.  Epic rivalry game, but the Steelers are banged up.  Big Ben, Antonio Brown, Polamalu, Ryan Clark....basically all of their good players are hurt.  For that reason I think the Ravens win outright, but I like the Steelers to keep it close at home.  I'll take the points in a tough game.

49ers -6 against the Bears.  Battle of the concussed QB's, but only Alex Smith will make it back for the game.  Given that, I think the Niners have a nice edge here.
